| As a not-for-profit consortium, Systems and Software Consortium (SSCI) has been an incubator for systems and software development industry best practices for over 25 years. SSCI has provided management and engineering expertise to hundreds of programs, helping them meet program objectives, end-user expectations, and performance goals. Our thought leaders are frequently called upon to address many of the complex issues faced by our government clients and industry partners.
SSCI areas of expertise include, program and project management, systems and software engineering, software quality assurance, IV&V, CMMI assessment and implementation, training, and process management and improvement. SSCI’s extensive repository of artifacts includes templates and examples of processes, best practices, checklists and tools, along with implementation guidance gathered from years of practical application experience and collecting lessons learned.
We provide organizations with the programmatic and technical information needed for effective decision making by establishing mature, repeatable processes, implementing engineering practices based on critical program drivers, and ensuring adequate communications mechanisms provide timely information. Our approach minimizes overall program risk and improves organizational performance.
